Our Fees
At RWDConsultant, we do not generally operate to an hourly charge out rate. Our policy is to properly understand the work required by our clients and then negotiate a fixed fee agreement for those services prior to any work commencing. This ensures that there are no surprises for our client.
Depending on the scope and nature of the project, we will generally invoice our clients for 50% of the agreed fee upon execution of the fee agreement, with work commencing upon receipt of this payment.
On larger or longer projects, we will negotiate a payments schedule as a part of the fee agreement and will invoice our clients in accordance with the agreed schedule.
Alternatively, we will consider retainer arrangements on the basis of a minimum retainer of five (5) hours per week. The minimum retainer contract term is three (3) months.
In the event of subsequent variations to the agreed scope of works, or where our clients prefer to engage us on an hourly rate, we can also accommodate this. Any taxes that may be applicable in the country where the work is undertaken, will be in addition to our service charges.
In all cases however, we always look to negotiate costs in advance to avoid any subsequent issues arising between the firm and its clients.
Any disbursements, including travel costs, incurred in conjunction with the project will be invoiced separately. Our invoice terms are strictly seven (7) days from the date of invoice.
Late payments will incur interest at the prevailing Target Cash Rate set by the Reserve Bank of Australia, plus a margin of 8.0%.
